Company's HardieShingle® siding, HardieTrim® boards to be featured on Labor Day broadcast
CHICAGO (August 28, 2013) - Fans of the interactive DIY Network series Blog Cabin will get an up-close look at durable, beautiful James Hardie Building Products fiber cement siding this fall, as it protects the 2013 project home, a coastal cottage situated along North Carolina's Crystal Coast. The chosen James Hardie siding, featuring the company's ColorPlus® Technology, will also be shown on Blog Cabin 2013 segments broadcast throughout September on four other DIY Network programs: Kitchen Crashers, Bath Crashers, Yard Crashers and Mega Dens; check local listings for air dates and times. Out of more than 200,000 total votes for exterior siding, pattern and layout products, those products received 39 percent of the vote.
Located in Atlantic, N.C., and just steps from the Atlantic Ocean, the Blog Cabin 2013 project home was originally a one-room cedar shake cottage. It was built in the mid-1800s as a 300-square-foot dwelling and expanded several times to its current eight-room, 1,600-square-foot state.
