With winter coming to an end, it’s the perfect time to tackle a heavy-duty and oh-so-cleansing cleaning. It’s as if your body knows it’s time to dust off the funk of winter, put away the snow boots and pile of coats, clear out what you don’t need in the garage and organize what you do, and detail your dirty windows and siding.
Once you crack open the windows and let the fresh air in, your home will begin to feel transformed. Then, it’s time to kick up the curb appeal. Hose down your siding to spray off winter’s remnants and break out your tallest ladder to clean out the gutters.
With spring showers approaching, you’ll want to make sure your gutters are functioning at full potential. And, since you’re on a spring-cleaning roll, donning your outdoor gloves and clearing out the old leaves, twigs and debris may actually be gratifying. You don’t have to feel bogged down by spring chores—instead, keep calm and get revved up to freshen up your space, inside and out. Then you’ll be in the mood to sit back, enjoy the warm weather and revel in your home’s newfound sparkle.
